~~~~~~~~ This is what Maximum Rock'n'Roll wrote about issue#2: (Smashed Images#2 got mentioned in the zine top-10 of jan'05, MRR#260)
Smashed Images is a very political zine out of Holland offering the latest in leftist views a la punk Europe. I especially liked the reviewers' wit, as I am without mine at this cold dark hour. This is the kind of material an eager person can learn from. I felt like I did. The Attila the Stockbroker interview is good stuff, and the band interviews will surely appeal to street punks and fans thereof. The color scheme was the only thing that made me feel uncomfortable. It's red and blue ink, neatly printed on white paper. I guess if those are the only colors you've got then stamp it on, but it just made me wonder if that should even matter. It just goes to show how personal taste is; so you decide... when you read this zine. (Dionne Stevens)
