Thats it...after 11 long months Fire and Flames is finally back online with a great new site.
We suggest you go check it out.
New shirt designs, a new LP from Banda Bassotti, a new CD from the great Parisian band Brixton Cats, and much much more.
Weve made it worth the wait! :-)

Can you tell me why the Redskins don't get any money from the live CD you are selling? Why deal with labels that rip bands off?  |

Well, we dont have the habit of making a security check on every CD we trade with. And furthermore, you say one thing, Mad Butcher says another....and in all honesty, based on the experience of my previous dealings with you....your word doesnt carry much weight with me, especially after you ignored I dont know how many emails from us and chose a public slander campaign instead.
You can say what you will, but a quick look through our catalog will show you that we work with dozens and dozens of labels, clothing manufacturers, venues, bands, and antifa groups and in 4 years, aside from you, nobody has had anything but positive things to say about us, so shove it.
And if you have a problem with Mad Butcher, take it up with Mad Butcher please.

I remember that you claimed to have paid me but couldn't produce a receipt. The bill was only settled when I warned people about dealing with you. As for the Redskins live album, it's easy to check up to see if the songwriters fee has been paid. I made sure that this was paid via MCPS when I put out the Redskins tribute CD Reds Strike The Blues But Mad Butcher have never paid a penny for any of the Redskins songs. The only money from that live album was paid to Martin Hewes girlfriend for the new artwork she designed and this was paid by Ghetto Rock and not Mad Butcher. |

This is my last mail on this subject, theres no reasoning with you....
-At no point do you mention that before we had the problem with the payment of the one invoice....we paid you I think somewhere between three and five other orders.
But that doesnt count for you I guess, it must have been part of our master scam against you....lure you into confidence and then never pay again.
-Produce the emails, do whatever pleases your heart. I would do it right now, but as you probably know....our server died, which is why we were offline for a year....no more website, no more emails from before August 2005. But I know you have several from me offering to show you a receipt if you wanted. Im sure you dont have an answer anywhere, because you never bothered to reply.
The first signs of life from you...threats. Annoying, unelegant, but yes...motivating enough for us to go to the bank, ask for our old records of previous payments to you (which as stated above, were several) and solve the problem on our own, since you were obviously to busy to tell us we were sending the money to the wrong account number.
-And again, our records speaks for itself. We buy from, sell to, work with, or trade with literally just about every halfway relevant label, clothing producer, distro, and antifa group around. Literally, over a hundred partners spread over about 20 countries. And in 4 years....nobody has ever had a complaint, nobody has ever not been paid, nothing...only you. We have all the references in the world...same cant be said of you.
And if you feel wronged by us, Im sorry, I truly am. But get on with your life. And if you still have a problem with Mad Butcher...by all means, take it up with them.
Or is your big problem with us now that we sell the Redskins live CD?
Because if thats the case, you sure have a lot of work to do....I can name you about 50 labels, distros, and shops (all left wing oriented) who sell that CD right off the top of my head.
Thats is from me on this subject, I have other shit to do. I wish you the best in whatever it is you do.
