A question for the True Skinhead World:
Does anyone know of any socialist skinhead reggae artists from the years 1968-1972?
I know that Clancy Eccles, Max Romeo, Derrick Morgan and Delroy Wilson all supported the electoral campaigns of People's National Party (PNP) candidate Michael Manley. Manley was a social democrat, and tried to build stronger ties between Jamaica and other third-world countries (for this reason, the CIA helped destabilize his government).
I also know that the PNP used Delroy Wilson's "Better Must Come" as the anthem for Manley's 1972 electoral campaign. And Derrick Morgan recorded a great album of socialist reggae called "People's Decision". But I'm interested in any tunes I haven't heard about.
All those with info please post it to the Insurgence Board!
